Over the last 6 months or so I have really been struggling... we have been through the whole moving, buying/selling a house saga, I have gotten an insulin pump (trying to get healthier), moved in with my parents, had A LOT of stress and surprises with the house business and I have also put on quite a bit of weight and have just had an overwhelming sense of not feeling the greatest about myself. They all kind of tie in together, being a diabetic, I struggle with weight loss anyways, but being put on an insulin pump just makes it that much harder to lose weight, and can actually lead to weight gain because you're in better control of your blood sugars because you're taking more insulin. This whole situation stressed me out, on top of all the stress from everything else... I guess you could say I have been VERY depressed and having an extremely hard time accepting myself and that I am worth anything. I have felt like a failure and embarrassed for people to see me because of the change in my body. I felt like I had hit rock bottom pretty much, not knowing which road or path to take to try to fix my problem and make me feel better about myself. I had thought of everything trust me, the good and the bad. Anyways this last Sunday something changed in me.... No I hadn't drastically lost an unbelievable amount of weight (although I wish!!) I wasn't even able to go to church that day because of work, but I came home and decided to watch some LDS movies and it was like a light switch had been turned on or something. I realized that I was trying to do everything by myself. I was not reading my scriptures. I was not praying. I was thinking only of myself and I was miserable. I had forgotten that somebody was there to help me if I had only been willing to ask for help. Since that day I have been really trying to focus on the good, and relying on my Heavenly Father. It has made a big difference. I was also able to go to the Brigham City Temple yesterday with my mom to do initiatories and I cannot tell you how good I feel! I feel like I am going to burst with happiness. I have that feeling of excitement and joy inside me and it feels good! I am loving this change and i hope it stays this way. I wanted to write this down so I could look back on this when I start feeling down again and hopefully will help me to feel better!!

~Life Lately~
Life lately has been really good and exciting! We finally sold our car and bought us a brand new dodge dart! It's a stick shift, which I'm not used to but I'm learning and getting the hang of it! Also, even more exciting news.... WE GOT AN OFFER ON OUR HOUSE!!! We accepted the offer on Saturday and as of today our house is under contract!! I cannot tell you how much of a relief it is to finally have things working out for us! I am so excited to start house hunting and to finally get a place of our own! I hope I'm not jumping the gun, but they seem very confident that everything will work out with the buyers and they will want to close on September 12 I believe! That is coming up fast so hopefully everything works out!!!
I have been feeling a bit better about myself since my last post, although some days are better than others. I find that when I look on Facebook or other peoples blogs or sometimes even pinterest I find myself comparing my body, life and everything about me to other people and become depressed and I get the feeling that I'm not as good as everyone else or that I'm not exercising enough, or the right way or eating right or that my life just isn't as good as everyone else's, but the truth is, I am very blessed in my life and I need to just try to be happy with myself. If that means staying off of Facebook then that's what I will do. It's not worth making me feel inadequate about my life or myself. I love my life, my family and my husband and I am excited to see what the future holds for us!!

Frustrations...
I promise all of my posts will not be negative but things have just been a little rough around here lately and I am REALLY hoping things start looking up.
First off, for the past month pretty much, Jeff and I have been sick. I had the flu one week, Jeff's cold the next week and a half to two weeks, then I had a gallbladder attack and a bladder infection this past week. Holy cow can I say how miserable that has been?? Talk about PAIN! The dr wants me to go and do the test where they inject the dye into you and see if your gallbladder is working correctly and to be honest I sure hope that's what it is, only because I will have an answer as to what has been wrong with my stomach for so long. I cant lose weight, I have been SO bloated especially this last month that I look pregnant (which I'm not) and its extremely frustrating! I have been so sick that I haven't been able to work out as much and I just haven't had the energy at all and it sucks! So with that I have gained weight and I feel horrible! For the longest time I had been working out and feeling so good about myself and then the last six months I feel everything has just been taking steps backwards and all of my hardwork is down the drain and I'm getting back to the fat old me and that is really hard to see. I am and have tried everything to lose weight from getting a personal trainer working out six days a week harder than I ever worked out sometimes even twice a day, to see no results. I saw a nutritionist, tried my own things and nothing has helped me. I am so frustrated and sick of not feeling like myself that I really am willing to do anything!! Enough of this topic,I could go on forever...
Secondly, we have been trying to sell our townhouse for quite a while now and have had no luck whatsoever. We have shown our house multiple times And everyone says they love it, yet we're still in it!! We have recently lowered our asking price and haven't even shown it once... We just want our own place, somewhere to call OURS, not feeling like its just Jeff's. We also have been trying to sell my car to get something new to both of us and have had no luck. It's just really frustrating because we are both ready for something new and to start a new chapter in our lives but we just can't quite get there and I'm having a really hard time with this!!

New Year, New Me!! (Hopefully)
So even though it's already the middle of January (Where does the time go?) I have been thinking a lot about some things I would definitely like to work on this year.... Everyone's resolutions are usually about exercising and eating right, which of course part of my list too, but I want to make a lot of changes within myself as well....
1- Worry less!!! I swear I worry about everything and anything! It makes me absolutely crazy and I often find myself worrying about the smallest little "Things." I don't want to worry about "things" anymore. I want to just live my life taking it one day at a time, and taking whatever comes to me and just dealing with it as it comes my way! I can't do anything about the things I have no control over so I need to quit worrying so much about them and just live my life in a positive way!
2- Be more Christ-like- The past year I have found myself to be rather negative and I often find myself judging others or having mean thoughts! (I partly blame my dang IUD for making me crazy, although that is another post entirely!) I would get so mad at people and so worked up and angry that I literally would want to hit someone or pull my hair out, whichever came first! Then I finally get my thoughts calmed down and I think, you never know what they're going through or what battle their facing in their lives. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love everyone, even me, and wants everyone to be happy and to be kind to others no matter what the circumstance is. I often find myself getting angry at people and jealous instead of being happy for other people's successes in their life. This, I want to change! A lady I work with has been the greatest example to me about what it's like to be Christ-like. She's so sweet and she is so kind to everyone no matter what is going on here or whatever is going on in her life. She's always so willing to help others and serve others and I want to be more like that instead of being so selfish and always thinking about me! My mom is also probably the GREATEST example of what kind of person I want to be. She is always thinking of other people before herself. She's always helping others no matter how tired, sick, hurt, or sad she may be. You can never tell when she's down because she never let's it show, she just puts on her happy face and is so positive and continues to serve others. I would give anything to be like that so that is one thing I want to work on, I want to forget about myself, and concentrate on helping and serving others, whether that be my husband, people at work or my own family!
3-I realize exercise and eating right is important, especially for a diabetic, but I have found that I am OBSESSING with it. I am obsessed about trying to make myself LOOK better instead of really make myself healthier for strictly health purposes. It got to the point where I would weigh myself 3 times a day to make sure I didn't gain anything and to see if I had lost anything... I didn't care what I was doing for my blood sugars or my body as long as the scale showed I lost something! I want to get my blood sugars under complete control so that whenever we decide to have kids, I can make sure I'm healthy enough to make sure they're healthy as they can be! I still plan on exercising and eating right, but I want to do it for the right reasons...
This could go on forever. I know these changes aren't going to happen overnight, but I know that if I keep working on these goals that they will happen and I will notice a change in my life and I hope that others will notice a change as well. I know it will make me happier and enjoy life more if I make these changes and it will make all the relationships in my life better as well! Wish me luck!

Come and Gone...
Well I haven't blogged for a long time, but 2011 has come and gone. One of the highlights of our year was our 1 year Anniversary!!! Yes we actually made it a year!!! It's true what they say though, the first year is the hardest! We are learning more and more about each other and we're still getting the hang of being married but I sure do love my Hubby! We had a good anniversary. With it being right after Thanksgiving we both took some time off work and just hung out. We slept in (something I never get to do) and just woke up and did whatever we wanted to do! We had a lot of fun going shopping, going out to eat and just being together! I suck at taking pictures but that's one of my New Year's resolutions to make this blog more interesting! Christmas was fantastic! We both got spoiled and loved spending time with our families. We are looking forward to 2012 and to see what this next year brings us. We are already planning another cruise! I will try to blog more and add more pictures so this isn't so boring!

God Gave Me You
So I heard Blake Shelton's new song on the radio and I absolutely LOVE it!! I think it is so cute and I just love the message in it and it's exactly how I feel about my husband! I have always loved him but something has changed within the last few weeks that have really made me love him so much more and really appreciate him and I am so glad that I have him to help me through everything for eternity! Anyways enough of the sappy love stuff, I have put the lyrics below for your reading pleasure!
"God Gave Me You"
I’ve been a walking heartache
I’ve made a mess of me
The person that I’ve been lately
Ain’t who I wanna be
But you stay here right beside me
And watch as the storm blows through
And I need you
Cause God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
And for when I think I lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it’s true
God gave me you
Gave me you
There’s more here than what we’re seeing
A divine conspiracy
That you, an angel lovely
Could somehow fall for me
You’ll always be love’s great martyr
And I’ll be the flattered fool
And I need you
God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
And for when I think I lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it’s true
God gave me you
On my own I’m only
Half of what I could be
I can’t do without you
We are stitched together
And what love has tethered
I pray we never undo
Cause God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
And for when I think I lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it’s true
God gave me you, gave me you.
He gave me you.

Happy Birthday Hubby!
Saturday September 24 was my good lookin' husbands birthday! He turned the big 29! haha He's getting old! jk But we had a great weekend celebrating. We started off our weekend with a little getaway to Salt Lake to stay at the Grand America... Yes we're moving up in the world! Just kidding, we just decided to splurge and have a fun little one night stay at a very fancy hotel for his special day! It was amazing, we felt like real rich high class people haha! We then went to Old Spaghetti Factory and had some pretty amazing grub! Off we went to the movie after that, we went and saw Moneyball and let me tell you, it was a very good show! It was one of those movies that just made you feel all warm and fuzzy inside haha! You can't go to The Gateway without stopping at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and getting an apple pie caramel apple.... Oh my YUM! I am obsessed. I seriously have an obsession with fruit lately I don't know what it is, but anyways the next morning we got up and went to the Farmers Market for the first time down in Salt Lake and got some really yummy jam and some other fun treats. While we were gone I had my mom come and hang up a big birthday sign on our window so everyone around would know it's his birthday!! He was pretty embarrassed! That night we went to dinner with his family to TGIFridays. His niece Alyssa has the same birthday as him and that's where she decided to go. We ended the night up at the Nelson house opening presents and having blueberry cheesecake and ice cream that he requested. It was a very fun weekend and he even got his own Denver Broncos pillow pet! We have a slight obsession with those ( I probably shouldn't say that out loud, but I figure nobody reads this anyways) Sunday we celebrated with my family. We played badmitten had some more delicious food and brownie ice cream sundays! I think we ate a little too much food, but you gotta splurge on the husbands birthday right!? Anyways, this is quite a long post but I just had to thank my husband for being born and letting us have an amazing weekend! I love him very much and don't know what I would do without him! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!

~Oh Peach Days~
That's all I kept saying all weekend as we were walking through huge crowds of people in the hot sun. It's kind of a love/hate relationship I have with Peach Days. I always get so excited for it... I love seeing people that I haven't seen forever, I love the food (probably a little too much), gotta love the Peach queen pageant and the parades, I love the booths and walking through them all and watching my nieces and nephews ride the rides. I don't quite love the fact that the Peach queen pageant was 4 HOURS LONG!!!! Way too long for a pageant. I don't quite love the fact that there were so many people that you can barely walk anywhere, let alone stop and actually look at the booths. I was very disappointed there was no candy being thrown in the parade! It was so hot outside for the most part on Saturday that its just exhausting! I am glad that I go every year though, it just wouldn't be the same without going to Peach days!

~I'm Horrible!~
I have decided that I am absolutely horrible at blogging... I have the best of intentions of blogging about my life and everything that's going on but I find that I just don't have time to sit down and do it! There has been lots going on... We have had lots of birthdays. Parker and Gracie and my dad all had birthdays in June, and then Emma and Preston had birthdays in July. I cannot believe how big they are all getting! Here's a picture from our wedding almost 8 months ago. I can't believe how much they have changed since then!
Jeff and I finally got to go to the Zoo with his family! I think I was more excited than his nieces and nephews, it was so much fun! We saw the cute elephants, which were my favorite part. By the end of the day we were exhausted after being in the sun all day but we had a blast!
On Monday we are headed for Mexico! I am so excited to get away and go enjoy the sun with my hubby! I hopefully will post pictures when we get back but I'm not making any promises! Sorry I'm not so good at blogging, but I'll try to do better! SEE YA IN A WEEK!!

A few things on my mind...
I have had a lot on my mind lately and I feel that my blog is the only place I can really get it all out without getting in trouble!
First off...I don't like being a grown up! I hate having to worry about money and finances and bills and the future and working and what are we going to do when this happens or when that happens... There is just so much uncertainty it gets scary. I remember when my biggest worry in the world was what Barbie am I going to play with today or what friend should I invite over to play with. Man I wish it was that easy! I love being married and I love my husband more than I ever have, but why can't things just be easy?! I know there's a purpose for everything and I know I chose that and I wouldn't change it for anything but sometimes I just wish that things didn't cause so much stress!!!!
Second... this may be too much information, but I figure not many read this anyways so what the heck haha! So being a newlywed I of course like most newlyweds went on birth control. I went to the doctor, and being diabetic, I asked him what form of birth control would have the LEAST effect on my diabetes, and stupid me thinking the doctor actually knew what he was talking about, was told that the Mirena IUD would be the best. Now for those of you who don't know what that one is, it's the one with added hormones... BIG MISTAKE! 956 dollars later (because my stupid insurance doesn't cover birth control) I am stuck with this IUD and not knowing what to do. I hate what it's doing to my diabetes. Its making my numbers go crazy! I can take the same amount of insulin everyday and eat the exact same things everyday and somedays they honestly are just all over the place! Not to mention I feel like I belong in a mental institution most of the time because of my mood swings. I can be the happiest person in the world and then all of a sudden, something flips inside me and I want to absolutely kill someone and then I just want to cry hysterically the next minute! Now I know I was a little crazy before I got the IUD but I feel that it's made me even more crazy now! Other effects are acne (I have never had bad skin and now I get zits like crazy!) I am tired all the time and I get really defensive really quickly. I also feel like I have anxiety even more than I did before! So what do I do??? My doctor gave me a different anti-depressant with some anxiety medicine in it to see if that helps with my mood swings because she felt bad that I paid so much for my stupid IUD and haven't even had it for a year, so she didn't want to tell me to get it out just yet, but geez why the crap can't my insurance cover birth control or why didn't my woman doctor give me the IUD without hormones?! I'm angry at this situation, but oh well I just have to wait it out I guess... Sorry I'm done with that round of venting!
OK this will be my last item to complain about, but why is it ok for grown people to act like they're in high school?! Seriously, I hated high school and I have been out of high school for a while now, yet just recently I feel like I am back in it and it's very annoying! I try to do the right thing by doing my job (like I thought I was supposed to) and other people find it ok just to sit around and b.s. instead of doing their job, so I say something and they find it ok also to call me a name that they think is also ok because the term here where I work is supposedly a term of endearment... but then I'm the bad guy for taking offense to being called a name I should've never been called in the first place and now the other person has everyone on their side and only hearing his side of the arguement leaving me all by my little lonesome! Oh well I guess right?! I was trying to do my job and yet I'm the one that is left by myself... and yet the other person is trying to turn everyone against me! How old are you?! OK I promise I'm done venting. This post isn't very pleasant, but even if nobody reads this, I do feel a bit better after getting it all out somewhere!
To leave on a happy note, Jeff and I booked our next vacation to... are you ready for it??? MEXICO!! Yes we're going to Mexico again, we're going to stay at a resort in Cabo for a week! We leave July 25 and come back on July 30 and I cannot wait! Did I mention I love my husband?!
That's all for now!

~Happy Mother's Day~
I don't know if my mom will see this, but I just wanted to share with everyone (if anyone reads this) how wonderful my mom is! For any of you that have met my mom, you know she is one of the most genuine, patient, selfless, good hearted people you will ever meet. To me she is the most beautiful person, not only on the outside, but on the inside. She is just like her mother! My Grandma and my mom are so much alike. They could be having the worst day or could be having a hard time in their life but they will never let it show. They will always do everything possible to make sure that everyone is happy and everyone feels welcome and included no matter what the situation. I don't know how I got so lucky to be blessed with such great examples in my life but I will be forever grateful. I am hoping that some of these genes get passed down to me when I finally become a mother myself. I know i could never be exactly like my mom but if I could just be a part of the woman she is I will be ok with that. No words could ever express my gratitude and my love for my mother and I could never thank her enough for the help she has given me and for the example she is to me. She has always been there for me no matter what problem I'm having in my life, whether big or small, she always listens and makes me feel better. I don't know what I would ever do without my mom! I love you Mom! Happy Mother's Day!

Birthday/Valentine's Weekend!
Also it was my birthday on February 10 and it was such a good day! Everyone made it so special I can't thank everyone enough. I got my cubicle decorated at work and lots of messages and phone calls and my nieces and nephews even called to sing happy birthday! That was my favorite! Also when I got home my cute Hubby had my present all wrapped and couldn't wait to give it to me... I opened it and he got me some exercise shorts I had wanted forever and a gift card to Maurices so I could buy the purse I had been telling him about! He also got me a Cold Stone Cookies and Cream Birthday cake which was absolutely delicious!!! We decided since my birthday is so close to Valentines day that we were just going to celebrate it all at once and go spend the night in Salt Lake at the Little America! We went and ate at the Old Spaghetti Factory and then went back to our suite at our hotel! It was so much fun and such a nice weekend! We celebrated with my family when we got back on Sunday and had lots of food and more cake and just hung out with everyone, it was so fun!! Then for Valentine's I got him some socks he had been wanting from Aeropostale and he got me an Orchid. I decided that can be our baby since we're not having kids for a VERY LONG time! I almost killed it in the first week we had it but I think it's all better now and it's beautiful!! I hope you all had a great Valentine's day!!
Playing Catch Up!
I didn't realize how long it has been since I posted so I thought I better post about what we have been up to these past few months... First off I survived my first cruise! It was so much fun and the weather was so nice and warm! We didn't want to come home! There are WAY too many pictures to post them all so I'll just post a few...
That is Cabo behind us. I absolutely loved Cabo, we had a lot of fun walking around all the shops and laying out on the beach! I could've stayed there the whole time, but we had a lot of fun on the ship. There was so much to do all the time, we went to some really fun karoake nights and game shows and lots of performances too. The food was delicious as well. They had all kinds of food at any time of the day which was great! My favorite was the soft serve ice cream!! Oh man just thinking about all that yummy food makes me want to go back! One of the nights at dinner we got a nice surprise, some of the waiters came and sang "Happy Honeymoon" to us and brought us the yummy cake below! Sorry I forgot to take a picture of it before we ate most of it!
There really is just way too much to post about our cruise but we are already planning our next one and can't wait to go again!! Sorry I would've posted more pictures but my computer is slow!!

*First Christmas*
This year Christmas was so much fun! It was our first Christmas being married and let me tell you, it was so fun yet exhausting!! Who knew that having two families to visit on Christmas was so tiring, but I wouldn't have it any other way! We spent Christmas eve up at Grandma and Grandpa Hansen's house with his cousins and it was a blast. Then we came home and opened one present each. I got him a gift card to Maverick (He loves his Caffeine Free Pepsi) and he got me the movie Easy A! We both love that show so we watched that and went to bed. I woke Jeff up at about 8 in the morning to go open presents! We then went to my parents to open presents and to have breakfast. It was so fun being with all my family and to see how excited the nieces and nephews were to see their presents! After that we went to open presents with Jeff's family and to spend time with them, then back to my parents for our Christmas Day dinner! It was so much fun! I loved it but was so excited to go home and relax after that long day. I look forward to many many more Christmas' with my hubby!
On January 2 we leave on our Honeymoon Cruise to Mexico!!! I can hardly wait! We'll be gone for a week in the nice warm weather! I am a little nervous because it's my first cruise but I'm so excited to go on a real honeymoon with my cute little Hubby! We'll be sure to take lots of pictures and post them so everyone can be jealous! jk

~Married Life~
Sorry it's been such a long time since I have posted but things got a little hectic for a while!! So to start off, November 20th, Jeff and I had the chance to go through the temple together for the first time to receive our endowments!! It was such a neat experience to have both of our families there with us and to have Jeff's mom go through to receive hers as well! I loved walking into the celestial room and seeing our families just standing there waiting for us! What an overwhelming rush of emotion that was! It was truly amazing!! Here's a picture of us before the temple...
Haha Jeff wandering around our room at Little America. We were on the 17th Floor, the very top!!

Hopefully we'll have some wedding pictures to post soon, sorry this was so long!!!
After that it was just rush like crazy to get all the last minute details done for the wedding. It was crazy but the day finally came... I got up at about 430 and my sister came over at 5 to do my hair (thanks Tami) then my other sister came over shortly after that to do my make up (thanks Jamie) and then Jeff and I were off to the temple!! It was awesome to just be able to sit in the celestial room with him. We got to sit there for about a half hour before they came and got us to go and be sealed. My uncle Tom on my mom's side got to seal us, which was so neat!! It was amazing to go in there and know that we were doing it the right way and with all our loved ones there with us! What an amazing experience it was!!
Everything after that went off without a hitch minus a few catastrophes! My photographer went to the wrong temple so we sat there waiting to come out of the temple after being married for almost 40 minutes, but at least we all got to sit in where it was warm because about an hour after being outside we were frozen! We had fun taking pictures and then the luncheon was delicious! The reception was funner than I thought too. I thought it would be uncomfortable with a bunch of people I didn't know but it turned out great and it was beautiful! Thanks so much to my family and Jeff's family for all your help that day and for everything you all did to help make our day perfect!!
We stayed in Salt Lake for a few days after we got married and stayed at Little America and then our last night at the Anniversary Inn. We had lots of fun and can't wait for our cruise in January!!! Here are a few pictures from our stay...
Phantom of the Opera room at the Anniversary Inn.
I thought this little sign was funny!!
Mr. and Mrs. Nelson! Right before we checked out of our hotel.
Hopefully we'll have some wedding pictures to post soon, sorry this was so long!!!

Almost There!!
The wedding countdown is now down to 2 weeks!!! Can you believe it? I can't believe how fast time flies! Last saturday I had the Hansen family shower and it was awesome! Tons of people showed up and I got lots of fun presents and got to meet some more of Jeff's family! Thanks to everyone who came and thanks to Jill, Amy and Carol for putting it all together!! Today is my family's shower which should be fun and I'm going to thank my mom and sisters in advance for everything they have done, I have the best family in the world!!
Also this past week was this cute little guys birthday! He's such a stud and his little brothers are pretty cute themselves! Happy Birthday Brycie Poo! He and I have nick names for each other, he calls me deedster and I call him Brycie Poo, did I mention how cute he is?!
I'm sorry this post was so long, but I just wanted to share!! Enjoy!

Tomorrow Jeff and I are giving our "Graduation talks" at the singles ward. Haha isn't it funny thats what they call it when you get married? Anyways he's pretty nervous but it will be fun! I have to say I am going to miss that ward. I have made some of my best friends there and I love the bishopric! It's going to be weird getting used to a family ward again but I'm excited to be able to start my life with Jeff! It's been a crazy road, but deep in the back of my mind I knew I would end up with him after all this time!
Here's how it all started.....
When I was 16 my friends and I were absolutely obsessed with big nice trucks. It just so happened there was this really nice truck that we would always see driving around Brigham and cruisin main street if you will. We would always see it parked at Smith's and found out that whoever owned this truck worked there. We would get brave and pull into Shopko where this truck would hang out and try to talk to Jeff and his friend but Jeff wouldn't give us the time of day haha! We would leave notes on his truck and everything! (Can you say STALKERS?!) Anyways it was time for me to get a job and my family being the Smith's famiy they are, kinda automatically got me a job at Smith's. I started working there and finally Jeff stopped me and asked if I was the one leaving notes on his truck, which I admitted to along with my friends and we just started talking from there. My friends and I decided to go to Temple Square one night at the end of November to look at the lights. We had a huge group going so I invited Jeff. This technically was our first 'Group Date." I had started liking him but we were trying to set him up with one of my friends but later that night we got talking about kissing and how I'd never really made out. (This part I'm not particularly proud of) We ended up making out in Smith's parking lot that night haha and didn't think anything of it but after that we started hanging out more and more and ended up dating for about 2 years. We went our separate ways and kept coming back to each other even after being in other relationships and for the past 3 years he told me he knew he was going to marry me, which I thought he was crazy! Turns out this last time we started dating again it just felt completely different from that "First Date" as I call it I knew we would end up together.
Now for the Proposal... For about the last 3 years Jeff has been trying to get me to go to Park City with his family, as they go every year. This time I actually went. We had gone ring shopping but I didn't really expect anything. I had a feeling it could happen up there but didn't know he had gone back to the jeweler or had talked to my dad, which turns out he's very sneaky!! Anyways we got up there Friday and had a blast all day, then Saturday we got up early and went and played on the Alpine slide and all the other fun rides there. We decided to go swimming and hang out there and as we were at the pool Jeff mentioned we should go for a little hike to finally use his metal detector which he decided to bring last minute (or so I thought) Anyways I was super tired after we got done at the pool and didn't really feel like going on a hike but I decided to suck it up and go. So here we are walking around with a metal detector to get to the hill where we decided to go. We finally started using it and it started going off, so Jeff tells me to start digging...Really?? He was just standing there watching me dig in the dirt with this little stick I found cuz I had nothing else. He leaves to start looking around some more and tells me to come over where he is cuz it's going off pretty strongly. (I'm a little annoyed at this point haha) I go over there and see a doller bill and a little plastic baggy. I grabbed the dollar bill all excited I actually found something on our adventure and he tells me to grab the baggie. This made me nervous as I had no idea how long this bag had been there or what could be in there, but I grab it and I was like oh cool someone lost a ring... then it clicked, He grabbed the bag and got my ring out and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and the rest is history!! Here's a picture of us right after...
and here's a picture of what we now call "Our Hill"I'm sorry this post was so long, but I just wanted to share!! Enjoy!

*UpDaTe*
Alot has happened in the past few weeks since I have posted last. I don't know if I ever posted about Cole, but my sister Jamie had a new baby boy! He is adorable! Here's a picture of him when he was about a week old. He has changed a ton since this picture! He looks just like his big brother Brycen! I love my nephews!
I also got a new niece last night actually! My oldest brother Brian and his wife Stacey had a baby girl named Ava Jade! She was 9 lbs! She is adorable! She looks like Brian with dark hair!I love her already! Here's a picture of her!
As far as the wedding is concerned, we have exactly 4 weeks from today!! I can't even believe how fast time is now going! Next week is Jeff's side of the family's shower, then the next week is my family's shower, the next week Jeff and I both go through the temple, then the next week we get married!!! Holy cow it's coming so soon! I can't even stand it! It's going to be so exciting to see everything all come together for our special day! I'm freaking out a little bit because I realize all the little things we have to do but thats just me being stressed! It just seems that life gets way too busy sometimes. I just kinda thought that life would stop and I would have all the time in the world to plan my wedding and not have to work around work schedules and other things, but thats not how it works in the real world! Work is crazy, life is crazy but thats all part of the fun of it! Everything wil come together and will fall into place for the BIG day!
I think something that is going to be really different for me is coming home to a different house! I have never lived away from home, minus 3 months of traveling for work, but it's going to be a hard habit to break to come home to a different house instead of my parents house! It will be a fun change though and I'm excited to see how everything all turns out!

Things Lately...
Things lately have been crazy! Everyone always says how busy and stressful wedding planning can be but I never really believed them, but HOLY COW I sure do now!! Between everything with work, wedding planning, decision making, and everything else life throws at you there's not enough time in the day for it all! I am going to love when the actual wedding day gets here so we can enjoy all the hard work we have put in to make it our special day!!
We have had some fun though, I got to go wedding dress shopping with my mom and sisters and that was a blast! I am an easy shopper I guess because I bought the first dress I tried on! Let me tell you how weird it was ACTUALLY going dress shopping. Growing up I think every girl dreams of the day she gets to go play dress up in some beautiful wedding dresses and thats exactly what I felt like I was doing, just playing dress up! This all still isn't real to me, it seems like a dream that I'm actually getting married!! CRAZY! One day it will hit me though!
Jeff and I also went and registered... I think he had more fun than I did! He went around scanning all sorts of things haha it was pretty fun! I realized I have absolutely NO idea what I'm doing when it comes to house decorating... I don't know what colors to do the bathroom in or the kitchen or the living room or our room! Man there are alot of decisions and we all know I'm horrible at decision making, so as you can imagine Jeff was kinda going crazy while I kept changing my mind! Oh well thats what he gets for marrying me! Anyways there will be lots more postings and maybe even some pictures to come, we'll see how good I'm getting at this!
